The longest narrow gauge system in Hungary is situated near the village called Csömödér. Passenger traffic is just on the 32 km long Lenti- Csömödér- Bázakerettye- Kistolmács route is available. One of the starting points of the narrow-gauge railways situated near to Hotel and Restaurant Denis.

The forest narrow-gauge railway, which starts near the Hotel and runs between Lenti and Kistolmács on a beautiful winding route of 32 km in the Göcsej region, offers an enjoyable programme.

The area of the railway system is beautiful; you can find also thermal-water, ponds, museums, old churches and arboretums here. For example: the pond of Kistolmács is used for both swimming and angling.
“The Treasures of Göcsej region – the forest and the trees”, the exhibition on forestry, hunting, sawing industry and narrow-gauge railway can be seen next to the narrow-gauge railway station.
